Five Wise Quotes To Get The Best Out Of Life

Isn’t it quite apparent that each one of us takes life for granted? God has created us and bestowed human beings with a precious gift called “life.” However, it is quite heart breaking to see how most of us are wasting it away, all for nothing. Some of them are bent on working hard day and night so as to secure their future. The others, however, are entirely fixated on living life in the present. It is important to keep a balance in life.  So we must make the most of it while we can.

Ralph Waldo Emerson tells us that

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, and to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

Seeking happiness is not the only objective of life. Every human being is destined for greatness; some of the most famous people can be seen for example. Therefore one must seek an equilibrium. Helping others brings about internal happiness. Learning from other’s experiences teaches us how to overcome the many challenges that we will be faced with throughout our lives.

Live your life to the fullest, because it won’t be long before we face death. Once we believe that life is valuable, things will start becoming better on its own. So William James preaches us,

Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact.

Mostly, people are so engaged with their lives that they fail to see the beauty of it. What makes us think that life isn’t worth living when we are blessed with everything we can think of? It is better to start making our lives useful rather than whining and complaining.

People can be really ungrateful at times. Rather than accepting their faults, they blame it on life.  To find an inspiration, one has to think positively and always be thankful at every step of life. They must also be accountable for their deeds, and accept that everything happens for a reason. Sydney Harris expresses the benediction of life in the following words:

When I hear somebody sigh, ‘Life is hard,’ I am always tempted to ask, ‘Compared to what?

Moreover, life is not all about winning. The world does not end on failures, and sometimes, it presents us with a new outlook to life.

Don’t worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.

Jack Canfield explains that one must never give up and never quit trying.

Last but not the least I would like to include this quote by Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe,

Live each day as if your life had just begun.

So, treasure each day and moment of your life, because you never know when it will be your last.
